Exciting Grape Varietal Traminette

This wine is dryer than our signature wine, Classic Traminette, but exhibits the same superb wine quality. Derived from the Gewürztraminer grape originating in the Alsace region of northeast France, its heritage traces back to Tramin, Italy, around 1000 a.d. The seed that gave birth to Traminette was planted at the Geneva Experimental Station in 1968. Arbor Hill was the first winery anywhere to introduce the Classic, following years later with the Dry Traminette.  Enjoy with flavorful entrees, particularly with cuisines from the Orient and India, and as a perfect accompaniment to cheeses such as Brie or Camembert.
